Selina Dobbs is the practice manager of a 30,000-patient practice, which operates as its own primary care network (PCN). With over 30 years in primary care, Selina has led impactful quality improvement initiatives and supports a broad range of operational and clinical services. Recently, she presented at the Primary Care Improvers Conference, showcasing significant optimisation efforts that have enhanced patient care and practice efficiency.
Paul Friend brings extensive experience in health and social care optimisation to the panel. Currently working on the NHS England General Practice Improvement Programme (GPIP) and serving as a programme manager for Stoke-on-Trent City Council's Adult Social Care Directorate, Paul offers a unique cross-sector perspective. His background as a former practice manager and federation services director, combined with his specialisation in process improvement and operational efficiency across primary and social care settings, makes him ideally placed to address the complexities of winter pressure management.
