Updated: Oct 8

We are delighted to announce that Dr Bilal Patel, GP Partner at Solihull Healthcare Partnership (SHP), will be joining our panel of experts for next week's webinar on 'Pre-Empting Patient Demand in General Practice - Why Don't We and How Can We?'.

Dr Patel brings a wealth of experience to our discussion.

As a GP Partner and Executive Board Member at SHP, a 56,000-patient practice in Solihull, he has been at the forefront of primary care development and innovation.

Dr Patel has been a local GP with the Jacey Practice since joining as a Partner in 2006, playing a key role in developing services before the merger into SHP in 2019.

His expertise extends beyond his practice. Dr Patel is a Director on the board of Solihealth, the local GP federation, and served as Chairman from 2015 until 2023. He also holds an Honorary Clinical post with the University of Warwick Medical School, and is involved in clinical supervision of medical, pharmacy and nursing students, as well as Clinical Pharmacists, PAs and GP trainees at SHP
